Responsebilities

  • Partner with other data scientists, engineers, and product managers to design, train, test, and deploy machine learning models.
  • Work on projects with substantial ambiguity and translate business and engineering requirements into a clear roadmap for ML model delivery.
  • Perform rigorous offline and A/B testing of models and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bring in cutting-edge academic research and industry practices to develop novel solutions, particularly in Recommendation Systems.
  • Help maintain models and improve them with cutting-edge research, within a scalable infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Must have:Deep background in NLP, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Optimization, Algorithm, and Software development.
    Knowledge of Python, SQL, PySpark, Machine Learning libraries, and Big Data processing systems in a cloud environment.
    Track record of building ML models or delivering impactful customer-facing products as a tech lead, with experience mentoring early-career data scientists.
  • Education:Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 2 years' experience in an analytics-related field.
    Option 2: Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    Option 3: 4 years’ experience in an analytics or related field.

Benefits

  • Sunnyvale, California: Salary range of $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 annually.
    Bentonville, Arkansas: Salary range of $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 annually.
    Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and stock.
