Responsebilities

  • Installation & Maintenance: Install and upgrade computers, printers, scanners, phones, and other critical hardware. Troubleshoot and maintain personal computers, servers, and related systems.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Provide diagnostics, isolate, and resolve service failures according to program resolution timelines.
  • System Management: Reseat cards, reboot hardware, replace components, re-image software, and repair storage disks.
  • Documentation & Communication: Update incident tickets, change documentation, and manage the configuration management database (CMDB). Provide regular updates on troubleshooting progress to stakeholders.
  • Technical Assistance: Assist with back-end device configurations, manage security settings and protocols.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to troubleshoot and resolve system issues. Provide support to customers, translating technical issues into understandable terms.
  • Special Projects: Participate in ongoing technical projects as required, staying informed about the latest technologies.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of related experience in systems administration, hardware troubleshooting, and related IT support.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of desktop computers, thin clients, servers, VoIP phones, video conferencing, and ITIL best practices.
  • Certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE (minimum requirement). Must possess DoD Information Assurance (IA) certification.
  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
  • Education: Technical training, certification(s), or AA/AS degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship: Required for eligibility.
